Charity Poker Event

We had our monthly Charity Poker Event , the 5th Street Charity Ball, that we host at PDC Poker this past Saturday . (PDC Poker is a U.S. friendly poker room)  For the second month in a row we saw 47 players at the felt and raised $94.00 for the Make a Wish Foundation. A big thanks goes out to all the folks that played . 

I made the final table this month, as well as fellow House of Poker Blues forum members Novi and DangerMouse. DM has won this Poker Tournament along with myself and won that shield accolade . Novi has yet to take this game down, but I'd have to guess that she has made the final table in this tournament more than any other player. She finished a solid 4th this go round , and I'm just betting that her winning it is in the very near future.

 I wish we could get more players for this Charity Tournament . Maybe we'll reach that 50 player mark in next months game.... I had really thought that by moving it to the whole Merge Network that we would have surpassed 100 players by now. Just keep spreading the word folk , and feel free to advertise this game on your own sites if you have one. It's for a very worthy cause and with only a 4.40 buy-in, half the proceeds going to Make a Wish , very affordable as well.
