Busy Weekend

Lately I don't feel I've got enough time to try and do everything that needs to be done, and this past weekend was no exception. I've been trying to build another website with some poker rakeback offers , and with me taking care of the four month old Grandson Caden that's not been too easy. I'm just building it at a blogspot and will move it to a host when she's all done . That site will be MyPokerBlues when finished . You can see a preview of it by clicking Rakeback Poker.

Fact be known, I'm not very good with this sort of thing at all anyway but I enjoy trying to learn as I go....building web-sites that is, I can take care of the grand quite well . That boy just loves riding on the mower around the area .  :-)

We had a couple poker games Saturday that the House hosted. The first was our weekly tournament held at TimeLess which I won. The game was pot-limit Omaha this week, and I hate the game . But with only five players making the start I managed to play smart enough to take the win . ( little luck didn't hurt either..)

The second was our monthly Charity Ball to help raise cash for the Make a Wish Foundation. The winner this month was "Mad4Cards". A big congrats goes out to her for taking down the win and also receiving the shield accolade to show off at the tables.  She donated her winings to the Charity and with 44 players that brought the total raised this month to $115.00  for the children.  I so wish that we could get a bigger turn out for this game, but I do thank those that play it each month .
