2008 Olympics Officially Begins Today

Today is the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics . The Chinese are all set for the Olympics and the big named stars and the big events are all geared up for what hopefully will be a memorable Olympics. With close to 10500 athletes from all over the world competing in 32 events, I don't see how it could be anything other than memorable.

Here in my home state we have a several athletes that have made the Olympics and I will surely be cheering for them to make some good showings and hopefully win the gold ! Good luck goes out to Dominic Grazioli (who graduated from the same High School as myself),  Amber Campbell , Elizabeth "Libby" Callahan, Amy Ives, Amber Cambell (who studied at the local collage , Coastal Carolina University ), and Micheal Hessman who resides just down the road in Loris SC. I hope they all do well. They are all winners in my opinion already just for making the U.S.A. Team .

Don't forget the opening ceremony at RummyRoyal today . The wife will be playing in that one today for a share of the thousand dollars to be won . Good luck "Tripps", I hope you win !
