Poker Game Personalisation : allows players to select from several different graphics for the poker game including:
Poker Game Mini Mode : allows players to put the poker game into "mini mode" such that it has a minimal interface and is still legible at small resolutions. This allows multi-tablers the ability to run more tables on the screen at the same time and still have them all visible. The user interface has been simplified when in mini-mode to allow for basic actions and the user can easily switch between normal and mini mode on an individual window basis. Further to this when the table is being used in mini mode, players can manually resize the window and use the mini mode interface in full screen.
Poker Game Grid Mode : has been overhauled to allow players to specify any grid combination with up to 5x5 games. It allows the poker game to be split out into a separate window and/or back into a grid window on an individual window basis.
Heads Up Sit'n'Go Rematch : now offer the ability for players to rematch immediately after the end of the game.
Network Diagnostic Tool : brand new tool that is built into the client and is offered to users when they get disconnected or are unable to connect. May provide help in identifying the problem the user is experiencing.
Expose One or Two Cards: Weather your laying down your hand to a big bet, or of no one called your bet, if you really want to keep your opponents on their toes, use PDC Poker's 'expose one card' feature.
Some poker rooms allow you to show both your hole cards, but at PDC Poker we go one further and allow you to show either both your cards, or just one card.
Say you had top pair but a weak kicker and you couldn't call a big bet you might show your high card to prove you weren't on a complete bluff. Conversely you might show your low card, to appear as if you were on a complete bluff. Either way showing only 1 card generally leaves your opponent asking more questions for which you gave answers with the card that you did show.
Rabbit Hunt : When you have won a poker hand, sometimes players are left wondering if they should have stayed in the hand against you. If your at your home game or in a card club sometimes a player will ask to see what cards would've come if they hadn't folded, this is called Rabbit Hunting.
While this is frowned upon in casino's and tournaments, in most informal games it is allowed. At PDC Poker we put this power in the hands of the winner. So if you win a hand unopposed, you can choose to rabbit and see what cards would have come.
This can be a great way to show your opponents your bluff, and to show them they really had you beat. Of course you might just end up showing your opponent that they made the right call with the lay down.
The only penalty is that you have to show the table what your hole cards were.
